LAS VEGAS, NV, Oct. 9, 2006 -- SkyWire Media, Inc., a leader in mobile SMS (Short Message Service) and IVR (Interactive Voice Response) technologies, has formed a strategic partnership with InfoGenesis. Shawn Harris, president and CEO of SkyWire Media, made the announcement.
The SkyWire Campaign Management Suite (Sky-CMS) is an all-inclusive mobile communication solution for creating mobile enterprise applications, marketing campaigns and communication initiatives. It will be seamlessly integrated with a number of guest-centric solutions marketed by InfoGenesis. One of these solutions is ResPAK Restaurant Management--a table management and reservations product that helps managers address table utilization, lagging table turn times, lack of guest information and inadequate preparation for rush periods.
"SkyWire's innovative text messaging applications fall directly in line with our focus on guest experience management," said Ronnie Schorr, Vice President of Marketing and Alliances at InfoGenesis. "For our gaming, restaurant, hotel, resort, and cruise line customers, it will be a seamless product integration that we anticipate will generate more revenue and help increase service levels."
One example, noted Schorr, is when a customer is playing at a casino table. They know they have a dinner reservation at 8 p.m., but get a text message on their cell phone from the restaurant indicating that the table won't be ready until 8:15.
"That guest is most likely going to stay at the table and continue to play because this integration is in place. Think about that. Through technology you're prompting guests to stay on the floor. Multiply this over all your restaurants, across all you properties and you've just given yourself an instant revenue boost," said Schorr. "From the guest's perspective, you're also giving them the ability to enjoy themselves more by not having to wait around at the restaurant for a table."
"We're thrilled to partner with InfoGenesis as the power of SMS-based marketing is just beginning to be realized commercially," said Harris, President/CEO of SkyWire Media. "When you launch an SMS text messaging campaign, you get an immediate response and can make a positive impact on your business that same day."
InfoGenesis has provided technology solutions for more than 20 years. During that time, clients have experienced high return on investment through innovative technology, industry-leading service and receiving timely business data. InfoGenesis was acquired by Warburg Pincus in 2004 and is headquartered in Santa Barbara, CA. Additional offices are operated in Las Vegas, Nevada and Princeton, New Jersey.
