IN-TOUCH AND TSR WIRELESS INTEGRATE BILLING SYSTEMS

MELVILLE, NY, Aug. 28, 1998 - TSR Wireless and In-Touch Management Systems, Inc.announced today that the In-Touch II system is being installed in 17 markets nationwide for TSR Wireless. Over the next several months, TSR Wireless and In-Touch will continue working on seamlessly integrating 800,000 former American Paging customers into the In-Touch II system.

The conversion process, begun last May, two months after the merger between American Paging, Inc. and TSR Paging, Inc., is progressing smoothly and on schedule. To date, approximately 55 percent of the former American Paging subscribers who were on the proprietary billing system known as PBMS have been converted to In-Touch II.

Erik Volfing, Vice President of Finance, is overseeing the conversion effort for TSR Wireless.

"We have hit every milestone on a very aggressive schedule," he said. "We are extremely pleased with the speed at which In-Touch has responded to our needs and the spirit of teamwork existing between In-Touch and our MIS Group."

Last December, TSR Paging Inc. combined with the paging operations of American Paging Inc. TSR Wireless, the new entity, is now the largest privately owned paging company and the seventh largest paging carrier in the U.S.

"TSR Wireless' ability to integrate these customers into In-Touch II has allowed them to rapidly take advantage of economies of scale that mergers and acquisitions are designed to foster," said Alan J. Hills, In-Touch's president. "In addition, the integration into one singular In-Touch system benefits TSR Wireless by giving them one uniform database from which to manage their business."

Throughout the conversion process, In-Touch has worked closely with TSR Wireless' MIS Department and has also been coordinating training in the converting markets. Hills said the company expects to finish the installation in about two months. Upcoming installations will be in Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Minnesota, Missouri, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Utah.

TSR Wireless, based in Fort Lee, NJ, provides a full line of wireless products, including pagers, cellular and PCS phones, two-way radios, batteries and accessories. The company primarily operates through resellers, direct accounts, and company owned and operated retail stores.

In-Touch Management Systems, Inc., based in Melville, NY, was founded in 1982 and is an industry leader in developing software and supplying computer management systems for the paging/NPCS industry. The company's In-Touch II system integrates seamless switch/terminal interfacing, billing, inventory, and accounts receivable functions for paging operators. In-Touch II is designed with no limits open architecture and hardware/operating system independence, allowing maximum flexibility and seamless scalability.
