BERRYMAN & HENIGAR WINS FIVE-YEAR AM/FM/GIS CONTRACT FROM CITY OF COCOA

ORLANDO, FL, May 31, 2002 -- Berryman & Henigar has been awarded a five-year contract from the City of Cocoa, FL to implement the City's AM/FM/GIS (Automated Mapping/Facilities Management/Geographic Information Systems) system. Ray Berryman, chief executive officer of Berryman & Henigar made the announcement.

Cocoa, population 18,943, is about 60 miles east of Orlando. According to Acting Engineering Division Manager Peggy Turner, tasks include data conversion, needs assessments, implementation, software and hardware installation, training and integration between all departments.

"Once the system is completed, we'll be able to more effectively map out our city's infrastructure," Turner said. "It will improve our maintenance capabilities, particularly in servicing our utility lines, and will enable crews in the field to be instantly connected via laptops and handheld devices. The bottom line is that we'll be able to get information out faster and more accurately to the community."

"The City of Cocoa operates a regional utility serving 195,000 people in areas in and around Brevard County, including the Cities of Cape Canaveral, Cocoa Beach and Rockledge, in addition to its own residents.
