Zak Designs Selects Halo BI as BI Platform

SAN DIEGO, Dec. 16, 2013 – Halo Business Intelligence (Halo BI), a global provider of business intelligence software, announced today that Spokane, WA-based Zak Designs , a large scale manufacturer of kitchen and dining products, has selected Halo BI as their business intelligence solution provider. The company will use Halo BI's holistic BI platform initially to enable their sales and product development personnel to mine company data on their own – and use it more effectively.

According to Zak Designs Chief Information Officer Raymond Shill, the company evaluated platforms from Oracle BI, Birst and Domo before selecting Halo BI. Halo Prism -- delivers a full spectrum of interactive dashboards and reporting options, coupled with built-in collaboration tools that's allowing Zak Designs users to visualize information, discuss it and assign tasks and track results without leaving Prism.
Halo Rings -- part of Halo BI's Prism Dashboard Visualization Tool. It's an integrated collaboration tool built right into Zak Designs' dashboard views, which is enabling sales staffers to communicate better with management.
