IMAGINATION TECHNOLOGIES LICENSES ANOTHER POWERVR SGX GRAPHICS CORE TO TEXAS INSTRUMENTS

KINGS LANGLEY, UK, Oct. 23, 2007 -- Imagination Technologies Group plc (LSE:IMG; "Imagination") - a leader in System-on-Chip Intellectual Property ("SoC IP") - reports that Texas Instruments Incorporated ("TI"), a world-leading semiconductor company, has licensed a second member of Imagination's POWERVR® SGX graphics core family for use in its future OMAP™ application processor product family under a multiple-use license arrangement.

This announcement extends the highly successful and growing relationship between the two companies. TI uses Imagination's POWERVR MBX in its OMAP 2 processor family, shipping in volume today, and the POWERVR SGX in TI's OMAP 3 family of processors, sampling today and expected to ship in volume in 2008.
