IQ TECHNOLOGIES RELEASES SERIES OF SAP B1 ADD-ONS

PORT JEFFERSON, NY, Dec. 4, 2007 -- IQ Technologies (www.iqtechgroup.com) has released a series of seven SAP B1 add-ons (developed using .NET) that will help small to medium sized companies increase functionality and protect their software investment. Kevin P. Cash, Vice President- Sales & Marketing, made the announcement.

SAP B1 or 'Business One,' is an integrated enterprise resource planning (ERP) software that targets business software requirements of small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) from Walldorf, Germany-based SAP AG. ERP systems integrate an organization's data and processes into a unified system.

"The modules are designed to meet the specific requirements of our varied global clientele," Cash said. "We're able to provide them with a more cost-effective and robust ERP while also extending the useful life of the software."

Capsule module descriptions:

COSTING - Helps management determine product pricing, hourly labor/machine rates, calculates manufacturing costs and compares these with industry standards.

PLANT MAINTENANCE - Monitors wide variety of functions including Category, Scheduled Activity, Activity Carried Out, Machine Breakdown, Breakdown Type and Machine Rectification.

PRODUCTION - Categories monitored include Operation Master, Machine Master, Tool Master, Process Sheet/Component Routing Master, Production Transfer Slip, Production Entry, Material Transfer/Return Note, and Scrap Note Entry.

PURCHASE - Provides quotation requests, delivery schedules, offers received from vendors, compares quotations, confirms import purchase orders, gives cargo arrival notice and calculates duties.

QUALITY -- Key features include Parameter Master, Layout Parameter Master, Control Plan, Initial Production Inspection, In-Process Inspection, and Final Product Inspection.

SALES - Sets sales delivery schedules, provides sales quotations, registers inquiries, determines approval/authorization process, logs in purchase orders into the system.

SUB-CONTRACTING - Provides critical information about job/manufacturing outsourcing in a manufacturing organization.

Cash added that various customized reports are also available for each of the modules.
