IN-TOUCH INKS THREE-YEAR DEAL WITH PAGENET

MELVILLE, NY, July 30, 1998 -- PageNet, the world's largest wireless messaging and information provider, has awarded a three-year contract to In-Touch Management Systems, Inc. The company's In-Touch II paging billing and management system will now handle all of PageNet's reseller billing and provisioning nationwide, which encompasses approximately six million pagers. Alan J. Hills, In-Touch president, made the announcement.

PageNet has utilized In-Touch's services in selected geographic areas since 1993. According to Hills, the enterprise-wide agreement also provides PageNet with training, instruction and consultation services.

John M. Van Der Wiel, vice president of accounting operations for PageNet, indicated the agreement provides his company with a number of significant advantages as it consolidates its billing and accounting functions as part of the announced reorganization of its U.S. operations.

"The In-Touch II system provides PageNet with a uniform 'front end' in working with resellers around the country," he said. "It enables us to integrate all of our indirect business into one enterprise wide database for the first time. We will have one standardized billing and provisioning platform and can centralize our business practices. As a result, our regional offices can focus exclusively on sales, and PageNet gets a highly reliable and fast method of signing up customers through reseller channels."

Hills added that the In-Touch reseller front end has become an industry standard - PageNet's approximately 9,000 resellers will be using it. He indicated that in terms of units in service the agreement represents one of the largest contracts for both companies - six million pagers in 49 states are included.
