LAWGIBB SECURES USPS SOUTHWEST AREA CONTRACT

ATLANTA, GA, Feb. 21, 2001 -- LAWGIBB has been awarded a two-year, indefinite quantity contract with the United States Postal Service (USPS) for Environmental Consulting Services in the Southwest Area. The contract includes three, one-year renewable options and has an annual maximum of $500K, with a five-year maximum of $2.5M.

The contract will be accessible to all USPS District Environmental Compliance Coordinators (DECCs) in Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas, where LAWGIBB will be responsible for marketing our services to the DECCs.

Some of the many services under this environmental contract include hazardous and solid waste management, remedial action assessment and implementation, project management, multi-media compliance auditing, flood plain and wetland studies, storm water planning and permitting, land surveys and subsurface investigations, and air quality consulting.

The Contract Program Manager is Becky Richards, Senior Project Manager - Environmental and Manager of LAWGIBB's Fort Worth, Texas office. Delivery Order Managers are Larry Lew (Houston), James Smith (Dallas), Tracy Thomas (Tulsa), Wade Tidmore (Ft. Worth) and Mitch Young (Austin).
