NEXDSS ANNOUNCES NEW NAME

KENNESAW, GA, Feb. 20, 2007 -- NexDSS, leading facility asset management software and services operating division of MACTEC E&C has changed its name to MACTEC Facility Lifecycle Management (FLM). MACTEC Senior Vice President and Building & Facilities Business Leader Richard Garrison made the announcement. Garrison will be directing the FLM group, which will remain at its current Kennesaw location.

The name change, according to Garrison, signifies a revitalized synergy between MACTEC's traditional facilities' engineering services and the unique niche FLM has in the marketplace, which offers clients objective-based condition assessment and use of the Vertex® methodology and software.

"MACTEC is one of the few organizations that offers clients a true turn-key facilities solution," said Garrison. "Our objective is to help clients at every stage in their facilities' lifecycle, from planning/design, construction and start-up to ongoing operations through final property disposal and exit strategy. MACTEC's successes this past year with the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) and other private sector clients are prime examples of this business model."

Garrrison added that Facility Lifecycle Management is not just about conducting assessments, but rather a more integrated approach to include design/build of solutions and implementing ongoing operation & maintenance for clients' facilities.

MACTEC (www.mactec.com), based in Alpharetta, GA, is an environmental, engineering, construction management, and infrastructure services firm with more than $500 million in annual revenue, and 3,000 employees in over 90 offices nationwide.
