MACTEC RELEASES VERTEX 4.0

KENNESAW, GA, June 22, 2010 --– MACTEC’s Facility Lifecycle Group (FLG) has released Vertex® 4.0, the latest and most comprehensive version of the company’s flagship facility asset management and investment analysis software product.   MACTEC-FLG Director Bill Faesenmeier made the announcement.

Vertex 4.0 includes a more powerful financial analysis engine, enabling 30,000 buildings to be analyzed and multi-year budget estimates to be created in only a few minutes.

“Another new feature is the location specific dashboards that provide portfolio statistics and financial data at any level of the portfolio hierarchy, from a building to the entire enterprise.  New analysis dashboards allow users to view multiple budget plans in a side by side view, supporting easier comparisons of different “what-if” scenarios” said Faesenmeier.  “The streamlined user interface also simplifies setting up various types of analyses and displaying inventory.”

Vertex 4.0 continues to support owners’ management planning related to maintenance, repair and replacement of real property assets based on Engineered Management System principles.  The latest release provides increased processing power in an easy to use interface with expanded reporting, both in data and graphical formats.
