HOUSTON, Aug. 12, 2010 – Network Box USA (www.networkboxusa.com), the American arm of worldwide managed security service provider Network Box Corp., has signed CoNetrix as a channel partner to sell its managed service, which includes the award-winning Network Box unified threat management (UTM) appliance. CoNetrix is a Lubbock, Texas-based computer networking, security and compliance firm that primarily serves financial institutions.
“CoNetrix is a perfect fit for our channel partner program,” said Randy Hays, Network Box USA’s director of sales. “They specialize in the banking industry, which is our strongest vertical market. With CoNetrix on board, our managed security service and UTM will gain an even greater foothold in the financial community.”
The Network Box UTM is a remotely managed Internet threat prevention and security device that weaves together numerous applications – firewall, intrusion prevention and detection, virtual private network, content filtering, anti-virus, anti-spam, anti-phishing, and anti-spyware – into a single, sophisticated hybrid of hardware and software. It enables businesses to combat hackers, worms, backdoors and other online menaces, easily and cost-effectively.
“CoNetrix is excited and proud to be partnering with Network Box USA,” said Jon Troutman, CoNetrix’s sales and marketing manager. “As security and compliance consultants over the past decade, we have seen an increasing number of financial institutions searching for a quality managed security firm. After much due diligence, CoNetrix sought out a partnership with Network Box USA, a service provider that maintains a full working knowledge of official banking regulations and offers our clients a comprehensive and affordable managed security solution.”
Network Box USA’s channel program empowers resellers with everything they need to ensure success in the sales and support of the Network Box UTM appliance. Channel partners gain in-depth product knowledge via training and documentation, and Network Box USA is available to assist in all phases of the sales process – from prequalifying leads to closing sales. Resellers interested in partnering with Network Box USA should contact Randy Hays at 832-242-5758, or randy.hays@networkboxusa.com.
