ASCG INCORPORATED TO BECOME WHPACIFIC, INC.

ANCHORAGE, AK, Oct. 9, 2007 -- ASCG Incorporated, an engineering and architecture firm operating in eight states, recently announced that it will merge its subsidiaries into one company and operate under one name, WHPacific, Inc. John Rense, president of ASCG, announced the change.

The new name ties back to ASCG's Northwest-based subsidiary, W&H Pacific, Inc., whose assets were acquired in 2002.

"This change benefits both our clients and employees," Rense says of the decision to consolidate all of its operations. "We can now offer a broader range of services and capabilities using a greater depth of resources while our clients continue to deal with our staff and project managers as before".

WHPacific will offer engineering, architecture, surveying, land development, and planning services. The company will serve the United States through a group of 17 regional offices in Alaska, Oregon, Idaho, Washington, Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, and Texas. Since its founding 26 years ago, the firm has expanded from a two-person start-up business to a substantial engineering and architectural firm with annual revenues of $100 million and almost 700 employees.

The transition to WHPacific is well underway and targeted for completion in early 2008. As before, the company is 100 percent Native American owned by the NANA Development Corporation and a minority business enterprise as certified by the National Minority Supplier Development Council.
